Outcome Summary:

A randomised (but not controlled) trial was conducted, randomising participants to either face-to-face 'SMART Recovery' meetings alone (n=86), or SMART Recovery meetings plus the Overcoming Addictions website (n=102). No differences were observed between face-to-face meetings alone and face-to-face meetings plus the Overcoming Addiction website, although participants in both groups showed significant improvements from baseline to follow-up (3- and 6-months).
